Position Available: National Coordinator for The Preaching Congregation

The Episcopal Preaching Foundation invites applications for the position of National Coordinator for The Preaching Congregation program, a part-time position (estimated 50%) starting early 2023. Reporting to the Founder of the Preaching Foundation, the National Coordinator will have responsibility for shepherding the development and implementation of a five-year pilot and expansion program as broadly outlined in the appended Executive Summary. The pilot program is funded by a grant from the Lilly Endowment with the goal of developing a scalable model capable of adoption by any Episcopal diocese.

The successful candidate will have demonstrated program management skills and experience in designing and delivering graduate-level curricula and continuing education programs; of paramount importance is the capacity to build and nurture sustaining partnerships at the parish level with Episcopal parishioner groups in the pursuit of jointly agreed goals. Familiarity with the culture of the Episcopal Church, a passion for good preaching, and the ability to develop productive partnerships with diocesan and parish leaders will also be key to success in this role.
