Local Formation Partnerships

IONA Collaborative: Organized by 29 Episcopal bishops, the Iona Collaborative is a virtual formation experience for those to be ordained outside a residential seminary experience. The curriculum developed and shepherded by the Seminary of the Southwest in Austin, Texas, provides excellent training and preparation. The Preaching Foundation provides the materials and training for the homiletics curriculum, which features prominent theologians and homileticians such as Robert Wright, bishop of Atlanta, and well-known professor of homiletics, Tom Long.
