Seminary-Affiliated Partnerships
IONA Collaborative: Organized by 29 Episcopal bishops, the Iona Collaborative is a virtual formation experience for those to be ordained outside a residential seminary experience. The curriculum developed and shepherded by the Seminary of the Southwest in Austin, Texas, provides excellent training and preparation. The Preaching Foundation provides the materials and training for the homiletics curriculum, which features prominent theologians and homileticians such as Bishop Robert Wright of Atlanta and well-known professor of homiletics, Dr. Tom Long.
Candler School of Theology and the General Theological Seminary. The Preaching Foundation is proud to partner with Candler School of Theology at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, and The General Theological Seminary in New York City to offer formation curriculum in preaching for the institutions’ January terms. These courses of study are for seminarians and are taken for academic credit.
