Meet the Executive Director: Peter D. Wild
Peter Wild is a consumer packaged goods marketing and advertising professional working in the nonprofit sector.
Peter came to work in nonprofit in 2000 with Trinity Wall Street to lead the newly launched national magazine Spirituality & Health which grew to an award winning, advertised supported, bi-monthly thought leader in the field. Through growth, leadership changes, and the 2008 recession, Peter counts the survival of the magazine under the present owners to his success. In addition he co-led the production of three national conferences while at Trinity for clergy leaders at the Kanuga Conference Center with keynote speakers to include Archbishops The Most Reverend Tutu and The Most Reverend Carey.
Peter's most recent projects have been with two New England nonprofit organizations as Executive Director. Lyme Research Alliance of Greenwich, CT; and more recently The Hull Lifesaving Museum on Boston's South Shore. Among his successes in these roles Peter is most proud of that revenues doubled during his tenure as Executive Director of Lyme Research Alliance, creating the momentum for a merger of equals to form Global Lyme Alliance, now the largest not-for-profit organization supporting Lyme disease scientific research. At Hull, the expanded Hull Harbor Illumination Festival is symbolic of Peter's impact on elevating the visibility and donor appeal of the institution and its viability as a vehicle for corporate sponsorship.
A native of the U.K., Peter now lives in Connecticut with his wife Kay. While humbly learning the ropes as a new grandfather, his spare time activities include writing his memorable moments as an offshore sailor, marathoner, therapy-dog owner and beekeeper.
